Cedar Point June 1

The church in Gambier has invited us to come along for a Cedar Point day on Saturday, June 1. We're still working out the details, but they will probably have a bus (or vans) and somehow arrange to pick us up as they make their way north.

As soon as we have information, we need to respond so there will be space in the bus/van for us. More later.

Saturday, May 11 Bike Ride

We're going biking!

1. Meet at St.  Matthew's at 9 AM on Saturday, May 11 to organize the cars, etc. It takes about an hour to get to Mount Vernon from the church.
2. Begin riding at the Mount Vernon end of the Kokosing Gap Bike Trail. We might be joined by kids from either the Gambier or the Mount Vernon church. The ride will begin at the parking lot located at the intersection of Mt. Vernon Avenue and Lower Gambier Road. We will aim 10 AM.
3. Ride five miles or so to Gambier, where there's a steam locomotive, caboose, etc. to climb around on.
4. Drink pop. Perhaps eat.
5. At this point, we can decide: some can ride the five miles back to our start point. Others can catch a ride with the car that meets us in Gambier.
6. Ice cream?
